I'm suspicious of these people!

I burp and they cheer. I poop and they congratulate me. I spit up on them and they give me kissies.

There's something wrong with them, for sure.

Bouncy bouncy knee the birdie

This is my bouncer. Mommy and daddy put me in there so I can bounce, play and entertain myself with the lights and music that start every time I hit the birdie or monkey. Most of the time I use my knees to punish the birdie that hangs down from the center arch, but sometimes I mess with them by deciding to just sleep in my bouncer. I have to keep these people on their toes.

No rest for the baby

Man, you come home from the hospital after working so hard to recover from surgery and right away, they put you on your tummy on this thing called a Boppy to give you something called "tummy time." I don't know who came up with this idea, but I only like tummy time for about five minutes -- I can deal with propping myself up for that long. Then it's time for someone to pick me up and play with me.

Enjoying quality time in the rainforest gym

That toucan has offended me for the last time! I'm going to show HIM!!

Fight On, Trojan Football!

This is my official USC Football-watching outfit. I have many others, too, courtesy of mommy, Aunt Pook-Pook and mommy's friends Tracey and Nancy. I can't wait until I fit into my USC Song Girl uniform!

Making myself comfortable in my new home -- in a really big bed!

Right away, I helped myself to some zzzzs in mommy and daddy's bed. They can get another. I claim this as my own. And I know it's mine -- I demanded it, and they never say no to me. Pushovers.

Coming home from the hospital was so exciting that I fell asleep

But I was awake enough to tell my parents which way to go. What would they do without me?! It's a good thing these people sprung for navigation in their cars.

This pacifier thing might be okay... but I haven't decided

Mommy seems to think it's okay, so maybe I'll give it a chance. I do wish they'd take these mittens off of me, though. I want to scratch myself! If only these nurses would let mommy and daddy cut my fingernails, we could be in business. But until then... I guess this means mittens for me. Poop. Oops, I think I just pooped.

I finished my bottle!

After weeks of practice, I was finally able to finish my bottle! My mommy and daddy were so proud. This means I will get to leave the hospital and go home soon! I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself. I know my parents are excited too -- my mommy got a little teary. She's such a sap.

It's fun to wiggle out of hats!

I try to do it often, especially when I sleep.
