I told you I'd be back

Freshly off one cruise ship and on to another! That's how I roll.

The Disney cruise was a bit of a surprise - a pleasant one. We hadn't expected to go when we booked a Caribbean cruise with Amma and Baba. But I'm not one to miss an opportunity for travel, so off we went!

Mommy promised we would come back

Until then, I have my photos and my memories. And a special Minnie Mouse we bought onboard that I'll be bringing home with me. Now *that* is a great souvenir.

I didn't want to leave

If they can't see me, they can't take me home.

Has anyone seen Caroline?

Other things we saw in Cabo:

Sparkling water (take THAT, Edward Cullen).

Beautiful beaches (our glass bottom boat spent a lot of time where that yellow submarine is -- great fish spot!).

A seagull that ate a fish whole, right before our eyes!

Caves!

The lowest point of Baja California.

The Mexican Government should change the name of this port to Cabo San FISHES!

We took a glass bottom boat ride! It was fantastic.

There were lots of fishies - and plenty of different kinds, too!

They were very friendly.

Little fishies, too!

You could even see the fish off the side of the boat! I enjoyed feeding them tortilla chips. Seriously. Our boat driver insisted that Mexican fish love tortilla chips. It seems he was right! They practically jumped out of the water to get more!

Souvenir time!

Mommy got me some color-changing nail polish. She is following a tradition she started on her own (pre-Caroline) travels. Every tropical destination we visit, we go to a Del Sol store and get a bottle of color-changing nail polish. I have an entire Del Sol store in my medicine cabinet! Take a look:

Silver in the shade.

And red in the sun!

I got wanded by security on the way back to the cruise ship

They even made me take my shoes off. You can never be too careful with these shifty 3 year olds.

I should probably also tell you about the itinerary!

The cruise visited two ports: we spent one day in Puerto Vallarta and two days in Cabo San Lucas. Here are some Mexican birds. They were (interestingly) right on the port at Puerto Vallarta. We didn't make it far from the cruise ship.

Like an infomercial, WAIT, there's more!

Here I am doing my best Peter Pan impression.

Stitch was SUPER silly. As soon as I ran up to him, he stuck his finger in my ear to dig out ear wax. Let me tell you: I'm STILL laughing about this. Sometimes I run up to mommy and stick my finger in my ear and say "HA HA HA I'M STITCH!" Good times.

Now THIS is one Donald I can get onboard with. Every pun intended.

Sometimes when mommy forgets something - or does something silly - she exlaims, "Jimminy Christmas!" Well, I finally met Jimminy, but he said his last name is Cricket! That mommy is so silly.

Goofy proves that he lives up to his name

Ring around the gazebo.... all fall down!

The "serious" photo.

And a GOOFY one!

Pluto! Pluto! Pluto!

We lost track of time momentarily, so we thought we'd missed Pluto when we saw him walking by! Oh no! But thankfully, he was just walking TO the poolside photo op. What a relief!

I caught some serious air running to him.

Is it possible to get a bear hug from a dog? I think it is!

Pluto has mastered the "shake" command.

All smiles.

DOPEY!

Dopey was mommy's favorite dwarf. She still has the squeaky toy Dopey that Amma bought her from Disneyland when she was my age! Of course, I play with it now. That's why I immediately recognized Dopey when I saw him.

True to form, he came dancing in with Snow White. What a fun pair these two are!

I was first in line, so when they finished their dance, I made a run for it... and went straight to Dopey. He gives nice hugs.

They both admired my shoes. I'll admit -- they're lovely. Shiny red shoes are my favorite.

We took a closer look at the shoes while talking some more.

And finally: picture time!

Pinocchio too!

Not everybody got to dance with him -- I was special!

Cuddles!

A plethora of princesses!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Disney knows its stuff.

Knowing little girls as well as Disney does, they anticipate that all of the girls will want photos with the princesses. And boy did we ever! On two separate days, the entire atrium area was reserved for princess pictures. They had the princesses lined up (but spaced out) in the atrium. They had a long, winding line for the kids to wait their turn. And as it became your turn, you went from one princess to the next almost without further wait! So while the long to get to the first princess was long (nearly 30 minutes for us -- and we got there early!), once you got to the first princess, the wait inbetween princesses was short -- barely enough to change into a new dress to coordinate with each princess! Thank goodness mommy brought costume changes. Nobody else did this. Several people even commented on what a great idea this was. Mommy was proud. I was just happy to match each princess!

Oops. I didn't have a matching Tiana dress. The 6-pack of princesses dresses that mommy bought included Sleeping Beauty, who was sleeping through this cruise, instead of Tiana. Next time!

I got lots of pictures with Mickey, but this is mommy's favorite

It looks as magical as the Disney cruise felt to me!

Next up: pictures with characters!

We stood in line to see each of the characters. We took photos with everyone from the Princesses to Peter Pan. The lines were efficient, but this didn't mean I didn't find a way to entertain myself while standing in it! Whether playing with a light saber or doing ring around the rosie with new friends, I had a good time everywhere.
