For those of you who don't know, I call doggies "woo-woo." When I was learning my animals, I learned that dogs say "woof woof" - but I couldn't pronounce the letter "f" yet. So I said "woo-woo." And then, every time I would see a dog, I wanted to speak to it in its own language (you know, so he would understand me).
Well, it stuck.
I can say doggie now (and I do), and I can distinguish between an adult doggie and a puppy (and I point out puppies when I see them and refer to them as such), but I still ay "woo-woo" to doggies when I see them. So next time you see a woo-woo, be sure to speak to it in its own language and think of me.
