After Small World, we went toooooooo....
The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Roooooom, to the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Roooooom, to the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Roooooom, to the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Roooooom! I'll bet you're singing now, too. I loved watching the birds sing and dance (as well as the magical fountain underneath the birds). This time, I made sure to specify "Mommy, birds again." I wasn't making the Small World mistake again!
We went to the Tiki Room again. The moral of the story? Be very specific with what you want.
My first trip to Disneyland!
In all the excitement surrounding my birthday and birthday festivities, I neglected to update my blog about my first trip to Disneyland! We went with family friends who have two kids of their own (Katherine and James) and I had a wonderful time. Mommy loves these series of pictures because of the look of wonder and awe in my eyes as we took our first ride, "It's a Small World." I didn't know what to expect!
We had just gotten on the boat for Small World. There were people and objects moving -- I was trying to take it all in!

Whoa -- more moving parts as we enter the enclosed portion of the ride! The pictures inside didn't come out very well, so we'll skip those. Let's just say that I had a terrific time pointing out dancing kids and a variety of animals! I'm not sure which of the many scenes I liked best.

Here's how to start a Monday: with my favorite picture series from my party
At the end of Kasi's performance, we played with a giant parachute -- we all held the handles at the ends and raised and lowered it in unison. It was great fun! After each time, I said "Again!"
Just look at the joy on my face!
Not to mention my BICEPS! Don't mess with me.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
It was so fun I decided to sneak underneath to get a new vantage point.
And, at the end, I climbed in the middle (with some cotton balls!) and everyone continued to raise and lower the parachute around me! Who knew you could have so much fun with a parachute?!

More party pictures!
The brilliant Kasi Peters provided entertainment for the children!
Of course, some people preferred to just sit and eat cotton candy. A big thank you to Kimshelley & Joe for manning the cotton candy machines! They were a big hit.
And the ice cream truck was an even bigger hit (hopefully grandpa or someone else took pictures of the ice cream truck, because mommy did not -- oops). Everyone got their choice of an ice cream sundae, ice cream cone, root beer float or slushie!
First, I got a vanilla cone - then I sent grandma back to get me a slushie because I saw my friend Megan enjoying hers. It was delicious! But I think I enjoyed stirring it more than anything else.
Then my friend Liam and I got a ride around the playground courtesy of my cousin, Mackenzie!
Birthday party pictures are here!
My invitations! Mommy started the ice cream theme early.
Then she designed a dessert table. Sugar rush!!
Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Strawberry marshmallows, white chocolate-dipped Oreo cookie pops, strawberry Pixie Stix, tropical Fun Dip, swirl pops and pink, red and purple gumballs!

Amy Atlas really inspired mommy!
It's the day of my 2nd birthday party! I saw mommy's dry run of the dessert table. Amy Atlas would be so proud. Stay tuned for photos!

I cut my own birthday cake!
And I think I did a pretty good job!
In case you are wondering, this is a Princess Cake (named for King Gustav's daughter, the princess for whom the cake was commissioned). Grandma and Grandpa brought it over last night for me so we could celebrate my birthday properly. I liked it! I especially enjoyed the green marzipan leaf. Mommy and Aunt Pook-Pook understand the love of marzipan.

Happy birthday to ME!!!
I made mommy and daddy's life more interesting 2 years ago today! Yay me!
I can hardly wait for my party on Saturday. Mommy has been planning it for *months*.

I love wearing mommy's heels!
Every night when mommy comes home, she takes her shoes off and leaves them near the door. I immediately run up and try her shoes on. Despite her efforts to lure me away from her shoes and her attempts to discourage me from walking in them, I've gotten very good at walking in 3" heels! Here I am trying on mommy's shoes and... oops! Well, at least I managed to maintain my grasp on her BlackBerry. It's the important things, you know.

I took a doggie for a walk!
I was on a walk when I saw a woman walking a doggie named Coco. I walked right up to her and asked for the leash. She has a little girl too, so she understood the draw and handed the leash over to me. I took her doggie for a walk and helped lead her to the grass where she could go to the bathroom. I even lifted up my leg as she was taking care of her business to show mommy and daddy how doggies expel their bladders!

I got an early birthday present!
And I *love* my Radio Flyer Wagon from Aunt Pook-Pook and Uncle Kasra! I even insist on eating breakfast and my afternoon snack in it every day! Thank you! (That's Joey the Kangaroo, a gift from mommy's Aunt Shahla and cousin Roxy, who recently returned from Australia, safely strapped in across from me)

Meet my new bear
We were at dinner at Porterhouse Bistro last night (one of my favorite places -- I've been there several times and really enjoy their three-course kids' menu featuring soup, steak and chocolate lava cake-- plus a fun tower of cotton candy!). If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely go.
I was enjoying my steak when the owner, with whom I've built a relationship over the past year and change, brought me this really cute teddy bear. Being the polite little girl that I am, I immediately said "thank you very much" (Emily Post would be so proud!) and gave my new bear a big, big hug. I then fed him some steak, offered him some chocolate lava cake and ice cream, and shared my cotton candy with him.
In the car on the way home, I told mommy and daddy that his name is ZoZo Zabba. A fun name for a fun bear!
