In all the excitement surrounding my birthday and birthday festivities, I neglected to update my blog about my first trip to Disneyland! We went with family friends who have two kids of their own (Katherine and James) and I had a wonderful time. Mommy loves these series of pictures because of the look of wonder and awe in my eyes as we took our first ride, "It's a Small World." I didn't know what to expect!
We had just gotten on the boat for Small World. There were people and objects moving -- I was trying to take it all in!
Whoa -- more moving parts as we enter the enclosed portion of the ride! The pictures inside didn't come out very well, so we'll skip those. Let's just say that I had a terrific time pointing out dancing kids and a variety of animals! I'm not sure which of the many scenes I liked best.
By the time we made it out of the ride, I was pointing things out to mommy and daddy like a pro. Here, I was pointing out a bush that was shaped like a giraffe!
"Daddy, again." I patted him to make sure I had his attention. "Again."
Posing for a picture after exiting the boats (under duress, I might add!). I should have specified that, by "Daddy, again," I meant I wanted to go on the ride again, not I wanted to have my picture taken again. You have to be so specific with these people!
